Leave a commentOur mission at Conte Confidential is to give fans an inside look at Boston College Athletics by moving beyond the box scores and focusing on the athletes behind them. This is a blog about our Eagles, and you’ll get to know them better as athletes and people by visiting our page.
We will publish a Q&A with an athlete every week. We will also try to publish in-depth features called “Eagle Spotlights.” These may be on stars or they may be on inspirational athletes you haven’t read about before. Either way, we will try to write on athletes from all 31 of BC’s varsity sports.
We will run news and opinions on various sports throughout the week, emphasizing the five-time national champion men’s ice hockey team, the football team, the men’s basketball team and the women’s basketball team.
We will write spotlights on BC’s club sports, which don’t get a lot of attention but deserve to, so be on the look out for those. In that same vein, we will write features on the Campus School Marathon Team. These everyday students will run the grueling 26.2 miles of the Boston Marathon for a great cause, and we’ll tell you their stories.
