Eagles at NHL Development Camps This Summer

Most people probably don’t associate July with ice hockey. But it’s still an important month on the NHL calendar because many teams hold their development camps, which are used to evaluate prospects and potential free-agent signees, after Independence Day. A number of players with ties to Boston College will participate in development camps this summer. Conte Confidential lists where each Eagle is going.

Kevin Hayes will not attend the Chicago Blackhawks development camp. He went to the last four camps and was Chicago’s first-round pick of the 2010 draft.

Former BC recruits Conor McGlynn (Los Angeles Kings) and Frank Vatrano (Winnipeg Jets) will also attend development camps this summer.
